On the occasion of jubilee 40 years of the Municipal Association for the fight against cancer in Sombor, who celebrates this year, in cooperation with Radio Sombor, we established a new radio program called "WITH KNOWLEDGE TO HEALTH", which will be broadcasted every first Wednesday of the month in the period of 12 -13 hours

Marked the European week of fight against breast cancer in Sombor
 

In the organization of the Municipal Society for the fight against cancer in Sombor, European Week struggle against cervical cancer is marked with four lectures.
At the begining of the week, we had the good media campaign, we participate in the news broadcasts on local radio and TV stations, newspapers "Somborske novine", with basic information about Cervical Cancer in our country and in the world and we called the women on the regular examinations.
 

World Campaign 2009

Today's Children, Tomorrow's World

Wednesday, February 4 is World Day of the fight against cancer. Internacional Union against Cancer (UICC) will trigger the action "I love your healthy active childhood" in the campaign for prevention of cancer diseases, "Today's Children, Tomorrow's World".
This year's goal will be the reduction of obesity in the world, especially in young age, because it is shown that obesity increases the possibility of cancer diseases.

At 29. of december, more than thirty members of the Municipal Association for the fight against cancer in Sombor, were in the joint New Year's joy in restaurant Plitvice in Sombor. Last year, according to the results evaluated, was as successful as the 181 preventive activities that included about 5,000 citizens,

THE ANNUAL ASSEMBLY

Regular annual Assembly of the Municipal Association for the fight against cancer was held last Tuesday in the premises of the Association of Pensioners.
Among the guests were representatives of TV Vojvodina who recorded documentary program about our society.
